I’m entering the field of Human Resources with lived experience, academic grounding, and a clear vision: to help rebuild systems that are equitable, ethical, and accountable to the people they serve. As a trans Latina woman from a working-class background, I’ve seen firsthand how institutions—whether in academia, healthcare, or corporate America—can exclude the very people they claim to support.

For years, I believed that if I worked hard enough and followed the rules, I could create change from within. But I’ve learned that real change doesn’t come from silence or assimilation—it comes from clarity, strategy, and the courage to challenge broken systems.

My goal isn’t just to take part in the conversation around workplace reform. It’s to lead with integrity, listen with intention, and help build environments where everyone—regardless of identity or background—has the safety, dignity, and opportunity to thrive.

I’m not here to play a part in maintaining the status quo. I’m here to co-create something better
